Bringing up a new 5 G SoC software platform is a challenging task that requires a collection of skills on both HW/System architecture/ Embedded Software and protocol stack experience.
The SoC hosts multiple subsystems including a 5 G radio and its SW stack which require mainly a lot of development in the Layer 2 and Layer 3 on both control and data planes
RESPONSIBILITIES SW development & maintenance on LTE and 5 G stack (mainly L2/L3 layers protocols PDCP, RLC, MAC, RRC, NAS, SDAP) Testing (on HW target & in simulation) to ensure SW quality
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS basic understanding of 3 GPP Specs Excellent C/C++ programming skills Python or other scripting language for tooling and automated testing Protocol debugging using Wireshark/Logs/GDB basic understanding of SW architectures basic understanding of memory heap management and zero-copy transfers min 2 years of proven sw development experience in a related field. willingness to learn new things and being active member of a team.
NICE TO HAVE experience in L2/L3 Protocol Stack development familiarity with Agile methodologies such as TDD (Test Driven Development) Experience with different level of testing from Unit testing/ Component Testing and end-to-end testing
